I would like everyone to join me in welcoming Chuck Crandall, AE4O as our newest member of the SECC. Chuck is located in Marietta and started in the hobby in 1963 as KN3FUG. I remember those days well, having started as WV2QPW in 1961. Novice call signs were a mouth full in those days. Chuck took a few years off, but returned to a hobby most of us never seem to leave for good. His interests are QRP, LP, and he has both a K2 and an Omni 6 plus. Chuck operates yet another “wires in the woods” station…of which we have an ever growing number thanks to deed restrictions and the like.
