Well, I was one of those clueless "Duh!" guys way
back when. Didn't know any contesters where I lived, and never got
any worthwhile lessons on how contesting worked until I'd been a ham for
nearly 25 years. Got the "You Lid" comment enough times that I'd just go
to the other mode or get out the soldering iron and built
something.
I'll listen for all y'all this weekend --
no zero-pointers in the ARRL 160M Contest!
