Hi all - Plan an all out effort on SSB, one of my favorite
contests. Plus, I owe Ralph a good effort.

CALL FOR NAQP CW AND SSB TEAMS
NAQP CW STARTS 1800z AUGUST
8th
NAQP SSB STARTS 1800z AUGUST 22nd
The full rules for the
NAQP contest can be found at
http://www.ncjweb.com/naqprules.php
or I will be glad to send you a pdf
file copy of these rules if you
wish.
Teams for the CW and the SSB NAQP must be registered prior to
each contest,
so it is very important that we set up CW teams prior to
August 8th and for
SSB teams prior to August 22nd. We really need a
great SECC membership turn
out for both of these contest as we are
seriously being challenged by the
ACG, the TCG for bragging
rights.
Please sign up for either or both the CW and the SSB NAQP by
sending an
email to the SECC reflector and indicate which teams you can
join. Hopefully
you can join both for 12 hours of fun contesting!
Ralph
Bates, K1ZZI V. Pres SECC will collect the information and make
sure
the SECC teams are properly registered. Also please indicate in your
email
which of the events you wish to sign up for; 'BOTH' is
preferred!
This year, within the SECC, we will be giving out
awards for the highest
score in each of the NAQP contest, including this
past weekend's RTTY
contest. The award structure has not been confirmed
yet, but it will most
likely be a nice plaque for each of the contest, for
unlimited top score,
wire antennas, and QRP category. These will be
announced by the end of this
week.
See ya'll in the
NAQP!
