Hi Bill and a big welcome to the South East Contest Club and we sure hope you will enjoy it and have more fun in contesting. Although you sound like a very experienced ham, please don’t hesitate to ask for help on any subject and at any time as we do have some quite knowledgeable hams/contesters in our club, covering most contest modes. Please do join the SECC reflector especially since the SECC is primarily a reflector oriented contest club and with the exception (now) of only one in-person meeting per year, the reflector is our primary means of communications.

Again, a big welcome Bill!

73,

Tom Alderman – W4BQF

President – SECC

Please join me in welcoming Bill Wilson, KJ4EX as the SECC’s newest member.  Bill operates a Low Power contest station, is a SEDXC member, has DXCC and some other wallpaper.  He is retired from the U.S. Airforce and works in medical electronics repair in Athens, GA.  Bill has been a Ham for almost 40 years, built most of his own antennas, including tri-band yagis for 20-15 and 10 meters.  His favorite contests are the ARRL International DX SSB, CQWW SSB, various VHF contests and the ARRL 160 meter contest.  He mostly operates SSB however, he has a real love for CW.

Bill’s e-mail address is:

Bill, if any of us can be of any help to you, please call, and welcome to the SECC.
