Correction to TQP!
I tried to extend the Tennessee
QSO Party to be a 32 hour party, but the sharp eyed Tennessee guys will not let
me!
The correct starting time for the
TQP is 2 pm on Sunday, not Saturday as I originally posted.

QSO parties are a great way to ‘get your feet
wet’ in contesting as the exchanges are simple and there is little
pressure to work the world! Normal 100 watts (or QRP) and wire antennas
are best for these ‘local’ QSO parties. Get on, get some
experience, and above all – HAVE FUN!
