Please join me in welcoming Keith Carter as the SECC’s newest member.  Keith currently resides in Sycamore, Georgia and has been licensed since 1977.   He has tried most bands and modes at one time or another, enjoys contesting, DX, home brewing, etc.  Keith is presently upgrading his station setup with a new 55 ft crank up tower and starting on a 120 ft v/uhf tower using a combination of tribanders, monobanders, vertical, and wire antennas. He has 75 acres to construct his antenna farm. Keith is using Icom 746, 746 Pro, 756 Pro 3, Kenwood TS 680s, Yaesu 857d, and TVM-71 dual bander radios in various setups. He operates 2 meter FM with his local group and HF voice, cw, psk, and rtty. Keith also has a 35 foot power winch operated foldover tower for experimenting with antennas that he built in 1979 and still enjoys using with antenna experiments.
