TNX George!  It was a true surprise to win the photo contest, and the calendar shot was a very unexpected bonus.  I'd like to encourage everyone to send a picture of something unusual around the shack to the next ARRL photo contest.  You just never know what they are likely to pick!

I recently purchased the CD    "50 Years of Amateur Radio Innovation" from ARRL and they included a Free 2011 calendar (13 month calendar actually) with every purchase. 

Many of you may know this already but club member, Hal, N4GG, photo of his 1910 spark gap transmitter is featured on the January 2012 page.  If you all recall Hal's photo of his transmitter also won the 2010 ARRL Photo Contest.  Congratulations Hal!
