Theodore D. Davis, 67, passed away April 13, 2011. Born in Atlanta, GA on March 3, 1944 to Dr. and Mrs. Robert Carter Davis, Sr., he graduated from Brandon Hall School in 1962, Kennesaw State College in 1976, and earned a Juris Doctor degree from the Woodrow Wilson School of Law in 1980. Mr. Davis served in the United States Air Force from 1963 – 67, in Turkey and Guam and earned the Vietnam War Service Ribbon. He was a Fulton County Sheriff’s Deputy from 1974-99. Preceded in death by his beloved sister Dana Davis McGee, he is survived by four siblings: Dr. R. Carter Davis, Jr. (Dinah) of Highlands, NC; Mr. Christopher Davis of St. Simons Island, GA; Mrs. Malin Chamberlain (Walter) of Bay St. Louis, MS and Mr. Render Davis (Helen) of Atlanta, GA. He is fondly remembered as a kind and thoughtful uncle to many nephews and nieces and as a loyal colleague by his many friends. He loved biking on the Silver Comet Trail, was a HAM radio enthusiast, and an active member of the Atlanta Radio Club. Donations may be made in his memory to www.pathfoundation.org. A memorial service will be held at West Cobb Funeral Home at 2480 Macland Road, Marietta on Tuesday, April 19.
