I blew mine in the FT1000MP once. It doesn’t take much power to do it.. just some RF voltage floating around. I was trying to tune my zepp , cut for 80 meters, on 10 meters some RF got into the line to the computer. I had Milton Lord, N4DA (Radio Doctor) fix mine. I think it cost about $100 to have it repaired.
