Hey....why an inverter?
Go to Radio Shack and buy yourself an Igo-Juice....I run my computer and there is NO
noise because there is no converter involved....why convert 12V car battery to 100v ac
and back down to 12-15v for the laptop....????

P.S...The IGo-Juice package comes with a variety of plugs for the laptop..

Hal, I have used the plug in inverter listed here.
It is available from many of the big box stores, Walmart, Best Buy, Frys, etc.

It was quiet for me, but it may vary from product to product.
Or the hash was just not on the freq I was on...

There is a small chance Ill be able to be mobile for the GQP this weekend and would like to run the notebook computer – which means buying an inverter.

Does anyone know a brand/model number/local store where I can buy one that is RFI quiet?  I’m guessing Best Buy and Harbor Freight have them – but one I brought home from Best Buy years ago I returned after a few minutes of operation.  Noisy bugger!

All info appreciated…
