Had a nearby lightning strike a few weeks ago and it damaged the control board and CPU on my FT-1000MP.  Not worth the price (if you you could even find a control board) to repair. If anyone needs any FT-1000MP parts N4DA could help you since he’s keeping it for a parts radio. Hopefully my insurance company will give me a fair settlement. I doubt they will give me enough to by another MP...
