OK, guys.  Thunderstorms aren't close at this time.  This will probably
be my last chance to check e-mail before the contest period starst.
Just a quick reminder.  Mults count per band. Exchange is Name +
State/Province/NA Country or HI.  Stations outside NA and HI send only
Name.  Your logging program may require an entry there.  If so typed in
"DX" and then delete your "DX" entries in your Cabrillo file.  You, as a
single operator, may operate only 10 hours out of the 12.  Off times may
be 30 minutes or longer. Be sure that your 30 minutes are actual clock
minutes. If your last QSO is at 2000, for example, your next QSO must be
at 2031 or later in order for the off time to count as a full thirty
minutes.  You do not need to show your team in your log, as the team
totals come from the pre-registrations.  There is no club aggregate
score competition, but I suggest you show your home contest club in the
Cabrillo header just to keep in practice and show it on your 3830 score
submission as it is good advertising for your club.  t has been
suggested that in the day light hours you might check 10M on the hour,
15M on the half hour, and run on 20M in between.  In the night time
hours, check 160M on the half hour, such as 0330, 0430, 0530Z.  Contest
runs from 1800Z today until 0600Z tomorrow (1 PM to 1 AM EST).  Maximum
power is 100W. Listen for K2SX who will be W1AW/4 in SC.  Good luck and
much fun to all.  73, John, K4BAI.  P.S.  3830 posting page can be found
by a computer search for 3830scores.com.
