Hi everyone.

This is just a reminder about Tad's ham radio equipment auction going on right now.

This auction ends Sunday, and as of right now, there are numerous items that have zero bids on them.  It's very possible you put in a bid (bids) at the starting price, and you'll win!  If you look at this list, and find yourself on the fence, be Humpty Dumpty and put in at least a few bids.  You may get some great deals!  Here's a copy of the original message, along with the spreadsheet detailing all the equipment.

It's always OK to dream!

________

Mid May of this year, we all lost a great friend, Tad Williamson, WF4W.  Tad was an active ham with a lot of ham gear.  Most of that gear is now offered for sale.  I think many of you will agree this is the biggest ham estate sale yet!  A .pdf file detailing items for sale is attached to this message.  The rules and email address are all listed below.

Best of luck to you.

Tad's sealed bid auction estate sale:
  • All proceeds go to Tad's family.
  • All sales cash only. No checks please.
  • Bidding open to all Atlanta area hams willing to quickly pick up auction item(s) from Roswell, Georgia (or the Stone Mountain hamfest Saturday, November 1st).
  • Bidders are to submit bids to WF4WestateAuction@gmail.com
  • Bidding period will start Sunday afternoon, October 19th and run through Sunday October 26th at 6pm local Atlanta time).
  • A single email must be submitted for each bid. NO emails with multiple bids. Honestly this helps us keep track of all the bids. Multiple bid items in a single email will be ignored. Thanks for working with us on this.
  • All bids will be acknowledged by a return email.
  • Bidders may submit a new bid superseding their earlier bid.
  • There will be no periodic bid item price statements sent out throughout the week.
  • Each submitted bid will be date/time stamped. If two bids are received for the same item with the same bid price, the earliest bid received will be the successful bidder.
  • All winning bidders will be notified via email ASAP after the auction is over.
  • Arrange auction item(s) pick-up with Tim, WK4U. (good in QRZ).
  • Auction items will not be shipped, mailed or delivered.
  • Any items not sold through this auction will be sold at the Stone Mountain hamfest on Saturday, November 1st. (actually there are numerous small items that are not included in this auction that will already be for sale in the bone yard that Saturday. Look for the flying pink pig on a tall pole in the bone yard)
