Hello all:

The big annual Florida QSO Party will be this weekend.  There are probably more mobiles in that QSO than in other.  It is a QSO in which it is very possible to work all 67 FL counties in one weekend.  It is on 40-10M (no 80 or 160).  Exchange is RS(T) + FL county or SPC.  Times are Saturday 1600-015Z (ends on Sunday UTC date) and Sunday 2100-2159Z. Lots of prizes and there a power multiplier to reward LP and QRP stations.  There will be a lot of activity on the bands and hope you will all join in as you are able.

For those of you who want QSOs with K4BAI or KU8E for FOC or CWOps Club awards, I will try to keep up with which of us is operating W4AN/M at what times and post something to those reflectors after the contest is over.

Hope for good weather, good radio conditions, and for a lot of fun on the air for all.

73, John, K4BAI.

All details on the FQP website:  http://www.floridaqsoparty.org/  Take a look at the very nice write up on the 2014 FL QSO Party available by link from the website.  You can also get a list of the official county abbreviations from there.
