Hey, Cort, did you get any takers? I have one I removed from my Drake L7. It had begun to sound a little noisy, so I replaced it.  I probably didn’t need too, though - on the bench it’s not too bad. Actually, I have two; similar part numbers, but different current draws. They both sound OK; the stronger one moves a lot of air, and the weaker one is pretty quiet, but still should help a good bit.  You’re welcome to either or both. If you’re interested, I can stick one or both in priority mail for around $12. 50, I think.

 

A.       Torin TA450S: 115VAC, 0.12 A (the quiet one)

B.        Torin TA450: 115VAC, 0.25 A (blows hard)

anyone have surplus to their needs a 4.25 approx muffin fan 12v or 115 ac...  want to add an extra fan to back of my amp and the only one I have seems to be dead in the water... let me know how much shipped to me!

Hard to believe about Jerry... he is in my log so many times... seems like I just worked him not long ago in one of the tests! e always spent so time together at the various ham fests!
