Good points. I may try this one because I now can find open spots for
CQing on my waterfall without wasting time listening to make sure freq is
clear.

That's the beauty of the Sprints
- they're not just CQ-fests! Sprints require a lot of
skill. It's not even "normal" for S&P operating, as
you can't listen to multiple QSOs to confirm an exchange or
whatever.Â
Sprints are great contests!

- This sprint is a PITA to operate if you are primarily a RUN station.
You have to QSY after every RUN QSO. Many "collisions" for
CQing.
- Strange unless you are S&P, in which case it is normal
operation.

- Hello all:
- We have three, and possibly four, for a SECC & Friends team for
NAQP RTTY Saturday night. Just to clarify, I am not trying to lure
people away from any other team. I am looking for RTTY operators
who have not planned to be on a team, but find that they can participate
Saturday night and would like to be on a team. Please let me know
ASAP and I will register the team Friday night or Saturday. I will
register the team even if it consists of only a few, but I'd like to have
close to a full team if the operators are available.
- Thanks to all for the bandwidth. 73, John, K4BAI.
