Many are upset with the direction of the ARRL Board. Look at the CQ Magazine web page and read the December 27 proposed Changes. I feel the latest problems came up when Dick N6AA (ex W6dgh) voted not to DQ the Doug K4AC running to be re-elected the ARRL SE Director. Several other clubs sent messages to the board of directors stating they are against the proposed actions. I hope everyone is on the cq-contest reflector to stay up to date.

Please note that W4OZK is a good director and he was declared elected due to the fact he was the only candidate remaining. Hopefully he will vote against the new direction.
