I use ve7cc exclusively for several years and do not recall it ever drop. Do you have STAY ALIVE checked? That's all I can suggest.

Ve7CC almost as bad. I can open a web page as DX Summit and no problems
but I loose the ability in DX4WIN to click on a spot and have the rig
