Good going Richard.

I use a 160M OCF with excellent mutlband performance.  No "balun" saturation running 1500 watts at times. I have four OCF antennas in the woods with no feed point 4/1 transformer problems (including saturation).  I use Balun Design units.

They have both OCF  4/1 Voltage baluns for Carolina Windoms and 4/1 Current baluns for standard OCF antennas.  They are quality engineered and built.  Your 160 OCF will become a new antenna.

IC-7610 + ALS-600 + 6BTV + 160m OCF Dipole

I got almost 6.5 hours! Some day I'll get to operate a full contest period :)

I got a 2+ hour late start. Should have stayed on 20m at the start - lesson
learned.

I need to scrap the 160m OCF and just put up a 1/2 wave dipole - the balun gets
saturated if I operate too much and SWR becomes too high.

Nonetheless, I had fun! Had some great runs - best run was 133 Qs on 80m at 105
Q/Hr. THAT was a fun hour :)
