Ah yes - a typical hamfest purchase.  Wanting to get my old novice rig back on the air....I found and bought a fairly clean DX-20.  "Oh yeah, it works great" says my cheerful seller.

Well, a few parts are un-soldered - no problem.  The power transformer checks good - that's a big deal.  Only one small problem....no tubes.
