Just wanted to post a message that we are OK. The tornado that did all the damage in Alabama went right thru the middle of my subdivision when it crossed over into Georgia. K4BAI down in Columbus escaped any damage as well.
We were very lucky. No damage to our home at all. Just some tree limbs that are down. The tornado pass about a football field away from us and has totally changed the landscape of our neighborhood. Many trees are either down or just snapped in the middle. Also many homes lost part of their roofs or shingles. We feel very blessed today that we escaped the damage that my neighbors experienced.
Amazingly the only antenna I lost from my wire antenna farm in the woods was a 30 meter wire vertical. The rest survived.
