Yup, it's time this week for another of these, coming exactly a month after the last one..  This event will occur on Thursday, 26 December in North America (27 December in UTC).  With fabulous foxes and clever canines both on the loose, it promises to be a miscegenation masterpiece lasting the 90 minutes from 0200Z to 0330Z

Where?  On and around about 1.810 mHz.

Exchange:  the usual:  RST; QTH--state/province/country; Name; Power.

Calling CQ: “CQ CQ FE FE”.

Search and pounce: zero beat and call, but if a pile-up, try plus or minus as much as 150 Hz

.

Keep a log.  Exact frequency of a QSO isn’t needed.  And although the time of a QSO isn’t vital, it is helpful to see how the propagation may have changed during the event.  Log all your QSOs, with "QRO" noted for any over 5W..

MOST IMPORTANT:  Please post your logs promptly to this forum’s page.

Get your rig's bandswitch rotated fully counterclockwise, the output power dialed back to five Watts and give it a go!

Good Luck to All.

72,

Charles (aka Chas), W2SH
