Comments:

Wow, a strange contest indeed. With the SF numbers up I thought that the WPX
RRTY and this past week end would be pretty good! WRONG! Two months ago in CQWW
CW I worked almost 200 and 35 DX with the SF not near so good. 10 meters was so
dead that I jumped down to 15 mtrs but it was wall-to wall S-9 plus signals. So,
Friday was nothing heard, Saturday there a lot of noise from the north and
nothing heard. I called CQ TEST from 1500 up until at 2130 I finally worked
barely PJ2T and PY2UDB and then nothing. Sunday at 1530 ZF1A shows up 10/9 big
signal and the 10 actually opened up and lots of Caribbean and a few South
America made it into the log. Then around 2030 everything went away. I hung
around to close to the end hoping for a ZL or KH6 but nothing! Sure was
