I thought I'd try LP for this weekend of state QSO party contesting. Worked pretty well, although I lost track of the number of times I answered a CQ, only to be greeted by the response "K4BAI ..." :) Nice score John!

This marks my one year anniversary of returning to radio-sport, and I'm getting better at this. I remembered to print the list of all the county abbreviations before the contesting started.

I was having so much fun chasing QSOs and multipliers in the 7th call area on Saturday during the day, that I had less interest and stamina Saturday evening, and only put in an hour or so, going to bed early. I couldn't make-up all those missed 80M contacts. I kept thinking maybe 15M would open, but only managed 2 contacts.

Comments:

What a great weekend of contesting--thanks everyone for the QSOs. Lots of
activity. I made a mistake not staying up for 80M on Saturday evening, and I
wasn't able to make up for it on Sunday. See you next year.
