I've updated the SECC activity map at https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1GT7PCEO9QeCyKw5aYEQYx755EXzkxd_h&usp=sharing  The icon with the red tower point on it is the current SECC club center. I used the measuring tool and it appears we have it in a good spot since just about everyone (except K2SX) is inside the 175 mile radius circle for ARRL contests.

I used the measuring tool and found a way to get possibly get K2SX inside our circle for ARRL contests by changing the club center to 33.35577, -82.13733 .  At this point he would be exactly 174 miles from the circle. K4BAI who is our furthest west member would be 173 miles from the center. N4DU our furthest southwestern GA member would be 170 miles from the club center. AD8J our furthest norther member would be 161 miles from the center.  On the map see the red marker for the current SECC club center and the black marker for the proposed club center. Someone please double check me to see if I'm right on this.

I've become pretty proficient in Google Maps overlays (thanks to help from NO5W) since I started managing the GQP.  Since we don't have in face meetings for the club I thought it would be interesting to figure out where our club members are located. The club roster is very out of date so what I did  instead was go thru the activity reports for about the last year that K4BAI posts every week. This would be more representative of who is really a member of SECC.  Please checkout the map at https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1GT7PCEO9QeCyKw5aYEQYx755EXzkxd_h&usp=sharing . I was surprised to discover we still have some active members in both NC and SC but the majority as expected are in GA. We no longer have any members in AL since the formation of the ACG. This might be useful information if we might want to ever move the club circle to attract more members.

Hope to see everyone on the air during this Fall contest season. I should be active in all the major contests this Fall and Winter. Because of the pandemic K4BAI and I are going to miss going on our yearly PJ4A trip for CQWW DX CW. This is going to end a streak of going to either PJ4 or PJ2 going back to about 2004 for me. John will operating PJ4A remotely from my house in CQWW DX CW. If you worked PJ4V in CQWW DX SSB that was Marty, W1MD operating the station on Bonaire remotely.
