I've worked on the Eham.net and contesting.com team since Bill
Fisher started it in the late 1980's. The cq-contest mailing list
(@contesting.com lists) is 30 year old technology. The Group.io
mailing lists allow you to attach files or pictures to your
posting which the cq-contest reflectors don't allow. Plus the
search functionality on Group.io is much better. Now maybe that
wouldn't be something some of you might be interested in but
others might like that functionality. It really doesn't matter to
me either way which email reflector we use. but someone does need
to get the administrative login/password for secc@contesting.com so it
can be managed by someone.

I think the only problem is K4BAI has forgotten the passwords to do any administrative tasks. I think he tried to contact the people at contesting.com who couldn't help him. John, let me know if I'm wrong about this?

If it ain't broken, don't fix it!
I'm on several Groups.io forums. They work great. I just don't see any advantage to switching.

Has the SECC ever considered a new e-mail message forum?
The email exchange beween member is the lifeline of this club, so it may be time to consider a forum like. GROUPS.IO
I’m sure that many of you have a GROUPS.io account and are familiar with this robust comm tool. One login for all my groups is great along with it’s toolbox... digest option, member directory, internal chats, message search engine, and many more. Most importantly, it’s much easier to use and manage.
Thoughts?
