Thank you N4OO for letting me know my audio was not good on my first NAQP contact.  Following N4OO’s report, I discovered it was beyond “not good,” it was terrible – using the Heil headset I have had literally for decades.  Audio seems to be OK using the Yaesu desk mike, so when I finish with this email I may try to give out a few contest QSOs.

However, what is your recommendation for a contest headset, to be used with a FTDX 5000?
