[SEDXC] 2 meter status

I finally got a new 2 meter base with tones and was wondering about the
status of "DX Alert AKA Melvin".
I tried to reach NU4D several times as last heard he had a problem with the
software.

If "Melvin" is not working is there any chance that the DX machine 147.195
might carry manual DX alerts.
I use DX Summit and eHam but find many of the spots are from Europe and wish
we could have another source of closer to home spots.  I would be willing to
put out my spots (after I work im!).

If Melvin is still down does anyone use 147.51 ..if so I will keep my brick
amp to reach the other side of metro.
