Hello all:

Here is a quick summary of contest for this weekend.  It is intended to
be a quick guide so you can join in any contest smoothly.  Obviously, if
you intend to enter seriously, you need to get the full rules for any
contest.

1.  Oceania DX (formerly VK/ZL).  CW.  Sat Oct 14 10Z to Sun Oct 15 10Z.
160-10 M (no WARC).  Send 599001 etc.  Work only Oceania stations.

2.  Europe Autumn Sprint.  CW.  Sat.  1500-1859Z.  20, 40, 80.  14040
center freq.  Exchange:  Both callsigns, QSO # and Name.  2 khz QSY rule
for the station called.

3.  Pennsylvania QSO Party.  CW.  Sat. 16Z to Sunday 05Z.  Sun. 13 5o
22Z
67 counties available.  Sent QSO # and ARRL section.  CW/SSB.
CW freq:  40 khz up plus 1810.  SSB:  1850, 3980, 7280, 14280, 21380,
28310.  160 M at 03Z.  Don't overlook 160 M in this one as there is a
lot of activity on that band.

4.  FISTS Fall Sprint.  CW.  Sat 17-21Z.  Send Name, state, FISTS # or
power output for nonmembers.  freq 058 up.

5.  Asia-Pacific Sprint.  CW. Sun 00-02Z  14030-050; 21030-050.  150 w
power limit.  called station must QSY 1 khz after QSO.  Exchange: 
599001+.

6.  NA Sprint RTTY.  00 -04Z Sun.  80, 40, 20.  80 khz up.  Usual NA
Sprint 1 and 5 khz QSY rule.  Multiple QSOs with the same station on the
same band are permitted if there are 3 intervening QSOs.  Exchange: 
Both calls, QSO #, name, state.
