If you were not on during the CQ WW Contest you missed some good conditions.
10 M was the best I have seen it in years.  I had to go out of town and the
xyl was not going so I lashed my FT920 into the truck and took off.  I
worked 71 countries in just a few hours.  I am sure I  could have made DXCC
if I had spent a little more time.  This is with a mobile antenna....
Saturday was the best and Sunday was fair.  Enjoy it while you can.  The K5K
boys sure did a good job.  If you didnt work them you must not have turned
the rig on.  They had to be especially easy during the contest on CW as most
people were on SSB.  I am hoping we can get a program out of the K5K group
for this month.  I will have to wait and see what they say after they are
back.  There may not be enough time for them to get it together this month.
Looks like some more A52 expeditions on the way if you did not get the last
one.  There is one on this morning as I am writing this letter.  They also
are allowing 1 KW operation now if you are willing to pay the fee.  We are
alwyas open to artilces for the bulletin related to DX'ing so if any of you
would like to send us something fire away.
