Hi Guys: If anyone can help Zoli out with a source for GQP files for CT
or Writelog, please let him know and also let's add the info to our
webpage. Also, everyone keep in mind Zoli's comments with regard to the
CW frequency on 40 and drop down lower in the band when the band is open
to Europe. 73, John, K4BAI.

Hi John,

I'm planning to take part in GA-QP this year. Do you know if there's any
module for Writelog or a CTY file for CT available for this contest?

Second, while reading through the rules I bumped into the following (taken
from the SECC site):

"Suggested Frequencies:

CW: 3.545, 3.685, 7.045, 7.110, 14.045, 21.045, 21.110, 28.045, 28.110.
Phone: 3.850, 7.225, 14.250, 21.300, 28.450.

Look for SSB activity on the hour and CW on the half hour. No 160 meter,
WARC band, or VHF band QSOs count for the contest.

Miscellaneous:

Call signs and exchange information must be received by each station for a
complete QSO. No cross-mode contacts. CW contacts may not be made in the
phone sub-bands. "

7045 is an SSB freq in IARU region I (as well as 3685, but on that I woill
not miss many QSO's...). 7045 also hosts dozens of high-powered Italians who
wouldn't let anyone to work on CW. I had the same problem in last year's
CQP.

73 and cu,

Zoli HA1AG
