[SEDXC] scholarships

To Ga ARRL members

I want to congratulate two Georgia amateurs who have won scholarships
from the ARRL for college study.

David Ziskind, KE4QLH, Atlanta won a $1000 award. David is well known
in Atlanta. A Ga Tech student, David handles the massive logistics of
coordinating communications for the Ga Games held each July.

Jim Fletcher, KG4FGL, Columbus, won a $500 scholarship. He is a student
at Indiana University.

There is a lot of money awarded each year by the ARRL Foundation to
worthy students. Information on 2002 scholarships may be obtained on
the ARRL website at www.arrl.org
