Gang,
The FCC online license renewal works GREAT! I went to the FCC web site (=
http://wireless.fcc.gov/uls/ ) on 12/26 and received my new license in t=
he mail on 1/2/02. The envelope was postmarked 12/31, which means it was=
mailed out 5 days after I applied online.
My license was to expire in March. You can apply 90 days prior to expira=
tion date.
I received some mail from a service stating that they would renew my lice=
nse for me for a $5 fee. THERE IS NO REASON TO USE ANY SUCH SERVICE. =20
The ARRL website has a book mark to the FCC site as well.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to all
