Recap of SEDXC Meeting January 15, 2002.

There was a good turnout at Baldinos as well as the meeting.  I counted =
five new attendees.  Two new members were added to our roster.  David =
McCreery, K4UQC renewed his membership and Ron Lowrance, K4SX became a =
new member.  Welcome them the next time you see them. =20

Items discussed were as follows:

  1.. SEDXC now an ARRL Special Service Club-The Club was a special =
service club up until 1996.  Details regarding this distinction are on =
the ARRL web site  http://www.arrl.org/.=20
  2.. The SEDXC now has Logo Patches.  These are being sold for $2.50 =
each and can be purchased by any member.
  3.. SEDXC pins and patches were donated to the VP8 Dxpedition by the =
Club and given to Bob Allphin, K4UEE for the members of the Dxpedition.
  4.. The Lands' End order is now complete.  Anyone can place an order =
as long as 6 items within a category are ordered.  Instructions are =
located at:  http://www.peachtreecardio.net/sedxc.htm .
  5.. 160M contest scores to be sent in with SEDXC to receive credit.  =
Other contest scores can be sent in the name of the SEDXC but it would =
be nice to send them in per the SECC-South East Contest Club since they =
will be contributing their scores to the SEDXC for the 160M contests.  =
Go to:   http://secc.contesting.com/) .  Be sure to follow proper format =
for club names in submission of scores.
  6.. Constitution and Bylaws will need some updating.more to follow.
  7.. MOST IMPORTANT:  After the February Meeting the SEDXC will need a =
different meeting QTH as RadioShack.com is closing its doors.  Any leads =
would be welcome.  Churches, restaurants, meeting halls preferably free =
of charge or a nominal charge ideal.
