Less than 24 hours until the 2002 SEDXC =E2=80=9CContest Competition=E2=80=
=9D kicks off!!!!!



Who will be the big gun on phone this weekend?



Who will show their skill in the low power category?



Who will be the true DX hog and work the most countries?

In conjunction with the 2002 CQ Worldwide DX Contest on October 26-27 phone=20
and November 23-24 CW the SEDXC will be having its own internal club=20
competition.



The club will be presenting 3 awards for each weekend of the contest.



Awards will be given to the SEDXC single operator member with the:

1)  Highest overall score
2)  Highest overall score =E2=80=93 low power, 100 watts or less

3)  Most countries worked

For the highest score entries, please provide your CQWW summary sheet.  For=20
most countries worked, please provide your country count and list of=20
countries.

All entrants and scores will be recognized in the club newsletter, and award=
s=20
will be presented at a subsequent club meeting.

This contest is designed to be a fun competition among the club members, as=20
well as aimed in generating increased participation in CQWW.  Please remembe=
r=20
that when submitting your scores to CQWW, that the SEDXC has an agreement=20
with the South East Contest Club in which our club members designate the=20
South East Contest Club under the Club section in their contest submission.



Please note that, in submitting club scores, the names of the clubs have bee=
n=20
standardized (at least by ARRL) and club members should use the following=20
formats in the club line on the summary at the top of the

Cabrillo file:



"South East Contest Club"=20



The software won't recognize any abbreviation or variation from these

formats.







Phone scores are due by December 1, 2002.



CW scores are due by January 15, 2003.
