Announcing New Guidelines For CQWW Contest - Southeastern DX Club Challenge

The contest committee convened at the last club meeting and the following categories and guidelines were established for the upcoming CQWW DX phone and CW contests.

1) Winners of the prior year contest are ineligible to receive awards for this years contest. (Sorry guys, wait till next year).

2) Awards will be given to the highest country count in three classes:  high power (over 100 watts), low power (not to exceed 100 watts), and QRP (not to exceed 5 watts).

3) Highest country count will consist of the grand total of the total unique countries worked on each band.  

For example:  20 unique countries on 80 meters
              30 unique countries on 40 meters
              40 unique countries on 20 meters

              Equals a total score of 90.

4) Please forward via e-mail your score to me by November 22nd for phone, and December 20th for CW.
