Thought I would pass this traffic along from the NCDXA reflector...
T33 being 1 of the 6 I still need, this caught my interest!

T33 is somewhat rare. This group is mostly made up of the TI9M team from
February 2002. Those guys did an excellent job making well over 80,000
QSOs. If my memory serves me correct I think that is the third highest
amount of QSOs by a DXpedition. I also know that this DXpedition is a
little more costly because of the shipping requirements. This country has
not been on the air since 1999. Also I know these guys are going to do all
bands (for those of us who are band collectors) and modes. It's great that
Dave, K3LP, is also involved as he has a tendency to do things first class!
T33 ranked # 26 on last year's most wanted list. This year it will probably
rank around # 21 or 20. Given the above I would propose we as a club give
at least $200.00 as a minimum. The TI9M QSL card was a folded 4 sided QSL
and included logos from those sponsoring the DXpedition. I think we should
ask for the NCDXA logo to be present on the T33C QSL.

I recently received the message which follows below.

Normally, given our current financial postition, I would not recommend
additional expedition donations.  However, I did download and read the four
page PDF
attachment, and feel it's worth discussing at our February meeting (February

28, at K1MU).  Included in the extensive list of well known DX'ers that are
participating is K3LP, who I believe is still a member of NCDXA (and AA4NN,
who
is manager of the single prefix W4 QSL bureau).

QTH.net did not accept the attachment on my first attempt to distribute
this,
so if you are interested, let me know and I can forward it to you
individually. I'll have a copy at the meeting. Or, you can check the
website,
www.dx-pedition.de/banaba2004.

Dear friends of National Capitol DX Association,

I come today to let you know that an Expedition into Banaba T33C will
take place in April.

To let you informed, here is a PDF document who explain our plans and aims.

At this point of the preparations, we are looking for support from the
whole DX community. We really hope that your club will be able to provide
us a little help. For any help, the logo will be in the QSL card and web
site: http://www.dx-pedition.de/banaba2004/

After the expedition, a diaporama or video will be available for all the
"sponsors".

Thanks in advance for your help.
