Just a a point of information, another Club would have to be formed to
keep NT and get GA. FCC regs do not allow a single club to hold 2
calls.

Of course, all that is required is coming up with another Club name.
Are the Dixie DXers still in operation? Members could automatically be
on both rolls, and the same officers serve. The FCC then only requires
an organization plan ( C&BLs ), at least 4 members, officers, and a
stated purpose of the Club. And of course, with Cuba's consent, there
is no 2 year waiting period.
