Hi Bob,

 

Being somewhat new to the Atlanta area myself (18 months) I don't have a
name handy.  As a result I am forwarding this note to the SEDXC
reflector - perhaps someone will contact you directly.  The SEDXC is a
great club, you will enjoy being a member - I look forward to seeing you
at the June meeting if you can make it.

 

I have also copied Don Daso, K4ZA, who does tower work up and down the
East Coast.  Don and I have worked together on tower projects (I hold
the rope!) - he is a top notch tower specialist and will serve you well
if you have difficulty locating someone local to Atlanta.

I will be moving soon to a place a stone throw from you in Cobb County,
Jefferson Township (Marietta).  I see you are a SE Dxer, and I plan to
come to the June meeting if all goes well with the move.  I need to find
a contractor who will put up a ham tower for me as I am beyond the
do-it-yourself stage.  I wonder if you know anyone who does this in the
area?  I know Marty through my QSL work for the NJDXA.

area.  They are both contesters and DXers.  Bill Merritt is K4WPM and
