[SEDXC] Last Nights Meeting + Another Wanted

Hope ya'll aren't getting tired of my emails.

I attended my first meeting last night and had a great time, the club
seems to be filled with a great bunch of guys.  Thanks to the person
who donated the MFJ-259 to the raffle, I will be sure to put it to
good use.

While on the subject of antennas, my 135' inverted vee came down again
for the fourth time this past Monday and I'm probably not going to go
through the frustration of trying to put it up again for a fifth time.
 I've tried all kinds of convoluted methods, even springs on the ends,
 to get it to stay up but every time we get strong winds the wires
snap, even with 12 ga.  My trees are simply too small to properly
support wires I guess.

I'm looking for a used vertical to try next.  Something along the
lines of a 5-BTV, 6-BTV, or Butternut probably.  I have had good
experiences with these in the past and they should work good on my
hilltop QTH.  Anything around for sale?
