VU4 is the spot leader on Dx Summit. However, from Atlanta our openings are
short. My ole propagation program shows the best bets are as follows:

Best 20 meters at 1400 to 1500 Z. Earlier if Solar Flux is over 100.

Next Best 20 meters at either 0100Z or 1700Z (SHORT PATH). This short path
was used to work VU4DVP in the late 1980's. She was surprised to work me as
she thought the band had closed to the USA. I heard the HS/IK4 today at
nearly 1800 on 14260 at 55.

IF A and K index are low then 17 meters looks like a bet at 0100Z and if SF
is over 90 then maybe at 1600-1700Z. 4S7AB has been in on several days
lately at S7 to S9 at 1700Z on 17 SSB. The VU4 was ESP here at that hour.

My programs says NIL for 160, 80, 15, 12, and 10. There is a slight chance
on 40 but our sunrise and sunsets don't match.

With all the stations on there is a chance of some bent path so stay alert.
N4NN in South Florida had them coming from the NE on 17 CW. I have worked
HS on 15 SSB over the NE when W0 are working them direct SP. A W7 reports a
scatter opening with his beam on the South Pacific.
