Thanks to all of you for being so helpful.  K4RWG got me Val's address 
first and then I heard directly from Val, who is obviously subscribed to 
the reflector.  He is back on the air with QRP and a wire.  That's why I 
wanted to e-mail him.  I heard Val working AA1LL/M on 30 meters this 
morning before work (that's work for me, not for Val!).  73, John, K4BAI.
