Let me make it very clear that the footer on my email is mine and mine
alone, and has nothing to do at all with the SEDXC, it's my standard email
footer..  The comments from Susan that I posted was directly related to a
thread on the reflector.

I would be happy to have an offline discussion with you, but this reflector
is not the appropriate venue to throw barbs.  The beauty of living in the US
is that we are all entitled to our opinions and I respect yours.

A sales tax only -  that is -  a tax on just goods and services is NOT a
fair tax  - as poor folks must spend almost every dollar they earn on
goods and services  - while the wealthy do NOT need to do so  -

This translates to the poor being taxed on all their earnings  and the
wealthy only taxed on a portion of their earnings.

It has been nice knowing you  - perhaps if you can keep politics out of
your stuff  -  I may be back
