Here's a quick report from the Isle of Man team:

Hi all,

Well the trip to the Isle of Man was superb.
MD/K8DD, MD/W4DU, MD/AC8W & GD0BPS had a ball.

The total QSO count was about 2000 on CW with
over 200 on PSK and about 60 on SSB.

The rigs were: 2 x K2, 1 x IC706Mk11G, 1 x FT840
& 1 x Blue Cool Radio. The K2's were superb, the FT840
great and the BCR good. The 706 gave us problems
with QRM !

Antennas were:
2 ele beam on 20m,
BuddyPole,
BuddyStick,
30m Dipole,
20m Loop,
1/2 size G5RV,
4 square on 40m,
OCF - 50m / 25m - The BEST !!!
Plus others

This was a holiday DXpedition so we didn't operate
all day tho Hank managed 120 QSO's per hour on one day!

The 2 x DK9SQ poles were great and the 2 x 4m scaffold
poles were not used.

The QTH was a chalet that house 8 of us with three stns
on the ground floor and mine on the 1st! (my antenna was
the big doublet!)

Huge amounts of fun and good beer / food.

If you need more info on the chalet email me direct-
highly recommended !!!

QSL's are available direct or via eQSL.cc.
