You guys probably know abt this but below is my question to Sandy, W4RU and
his response. So, don't know if you might have a candidate (like K4UEE,

  There has been some "Reflector Fodder" floating around that Frank
  (W4RH)  has announced that he was NOT going to seek another term. 
Therefore,
  if  this is so, are you going to be available as a candidate ??? The
  reason I  am asking is there is ALREADY a campaign by a girl "Sherri" (sp) 
in
  Fla.  and I don't want her to "get elected" B4 the voting starts.. 73

 Hey Dave-Yes Frank is retiring after 28 years in office. Because of my
 stroke last August, I don't need the stress of being a Director so I
 will run again for Vice.
 Now in addition to Sherri Brower, W4STB, the SM from S. Fla, several
 others have expressed interest.
 Greg Sarrett,W4OZK, Alabama SM, who got a lot of ink during the Katrina
 coounications effort. He is also promotes  the D-Star digital commm
 system.
 Dick Mundro, K4FQT, formerly a Vice from the Great Lakes division, who
 retired to Marion County, Fl, from Detroit. He has the cash to send out
 several mailings getting name recognition..
 Carl Zeitz, AA4MI, retired NASA engineer.
 This weekend in Orlando, the politicing should be intense. Remember
 ballots won't be mailed out until mid-September.
