The hills of the Roman Castles and a sumptuous 19th century villa only a few kilometers outside of Rome will be the scene of the 2007 4th International DX Convention organized by the Strange Radio Team, which will be held on next May 5th and 6th. On Saturday the 5th, from 3 PM to 8 PM the DX Conference will be held, followed by the 3rd Strange Radio Event 2006 Awards.
Sunday the 6th will be devoted to visiting the Eternal City, marvellous Rome! This year, differently from the previous editions, the convention will gain a greater international dimension, with the presence of illustrious, renowned foreign guests who will speak during the proceedings. The hotel features ample parking, a restaurant, bar, and a fully-equipped conference center. In addition, all the rooms are a harmonious blend of elegance and practicality, besides featuring every type of confort (each room is equipped with Internet connection).
Regarding hotel reservations: For a single room 85 euros; a double room 110 euros (55/person); a triple room 125 euros (42/person) and for a quadruple room 140 euros (35/person). For the Gala Dinner on Saturday evening 35 euros, Sunday luncheon 30 euros. Reservations must be made by April 20th, 2007 at the very latest, by way of E-mail containing the required personal data (Family name, First name, Call sign, Telephone number) to the following address: srt at strangeradioteam.com
You will be contacted as soon as possible by the organizers who will provide you with the details concerning the location of the event. It is of the utmost importance that the rooms and meals be reserved well in advance of deadline in order to enable us to organize as efficiently as possible. You are requested to reserve even if only attending the Convention, so that we might be able to provide for sufficient space.
