[SEDXC] 100 Watts to a Wire

Ha!  Worked Chatham Island (ZL7/SP9BQJ) on 40 meters
at 11:54Z with 98 watts output to my wire.  'Spoze
that's not all that amazing - but - here's the kicker
- it was on RTTY!  Me? on RTTY - just to get a Q? 
What has this come to?

Lash-up was using MTTY software and just running audio
cables from the Mark V (Patch and AF Out) directly to
the Line In and Audio Out jacks on the laptop.  No
isolation transformers, no ground loops evident, etc,
etc - and - a very "clean" signal - what ever that
means in the world of RTTY!

This is shameful!  But - I'll take it!  73 -- Don
