[SEDXC] QSL Envelope Question

Guys,

 

I just received QSLs from T90HQ & T96C (Bosnia & Herzegovina) mailed in one
of their own envelopes which was plain white with the self-adhesive type of
flap.   My SAE which had the AIR MAIL stripes was folded up inside and it
was large enough for both cards.  Can anyone shed some light on why they
didn't use the provided envelope and used one of their own? I used an IRC
for postage costs.  

 

I have used the DX envelope sets from suppliers up in NJ for several hundred
cards and this is the first time I've seen this.
