I just received the following message from an ol' friend.
And he, Steve, WA4GOX, and Carol, WI4K which all of you still remember.  I though all of you would like to see the up-date.

Dear Friend,
They dismissed Steve from Norfolk General today.  It has been a long, hard 10 days.  My sister left Thursday and his sister came back from visiting their Mother in West Virginia tonight.  The good news is that we have now received the results from all of the biopsies.  It appears that a combination of the chemo and the surgery have made him cancer free.  We will have Home Health Care for 12  days.  He looks better than he has looked in several years and is getting around relatively well considering the degree of surgery performed.  They removed his bladder, prostate, lymph nodes, appendix, part of his colon, and a hernia.  Thanks for all the prayers.  You have all been a part of the success of this endeavor.  Now we are looking forward to having a normal life again.
