The TX5 is easy to work on 160. At 1154Z they are still 569 on 160 at
1828 listening 1832. I worked them on 80, 40 & 30 last night.

John, W4NU

Same here - I stayed up a little later than usual last night and had
them on 30/40/80/160 in short order with just the usual dipoles here.
They are putting in some great signals on the low bands...
Hal

FL-2100B in good condition with manual- sell to a dues
paying club member for $275.
I bought this from Guy (W4GBU) when all the big stuff
was gong to storage for the great "attic insulation"
project. Now all the stuff is coming back so it's
excess to my needs. 404-218-3595 Cellular. Tnx es 73

A friend of John Laney contacted me to help the wife of a SK ham who lived in Pine Mountain. I went and met her yesterday. She has the following for sale :
40 Ft of Rohn 25 tower (4 straight sections) - $200.00
Hygain Ham IV Rotor and control box - $100.00
The tower is in excellent shape. It is put together and laying on the ground so you would have to pull the sections apart. His wife says he put it together but it was never put up due to her husbands illness. There is also an additional base section that sticks out about 4 feet out of the ground that could be cut of or removed somehow.
The Ham IV looks like it has been on a tower before and has the older style Hygain control box.
Please contact me for more information or if interested.
